Quick Answer
The Festival of Football: Phenoms promo has brought several very strong cards, and today we are looking at three of the most interesting ones: Endrick, João Neves and Pau Cubarsí.
Endrick is a very dangerous attacker with great PlayStyles, strong pace, good shooting and smooth dribbling, but his 4★ Weak Foot and physical weakness can let him down.
João Neves is the standout midfielder here. His PlayStyles, passing, dribbling, defensive presence and 5★/5★ combination make him one of the best CDM options in FC 26.
Pau Cubarsí is the defensive highlight. With elite defensive PlayStyles, excellent passing, strong physicality and smooth left-stick movement for a centre-back, he feels like one of the best CBs in the game.
If I had to rank them for overall impact, it would be:
• João Neves
• Pau Cubarsí
• Endrick
Festival of Football Phenoms: Three Cards Worth Discussing
This promo has several expensive and hyped cards, but these three are especially interesting because they cover three different roles.
Endrick is the explosive attacker.
João Neves is the complete midfielder.
Pau Cubarsí is the elite centre-back.
All three cards look strong on paper, but they are not equal in terms of value, consistency and in-game impact.
Endrick is fun, fast and dangerous, but not perfect.
João Neves feels close to complete.
Cubarsí feels extremely reliable at centre-back and has very few weaknesses.
Let’s break them down properly.
Endrick
Endrick Festival of Football Phenoms Review
Endrick is one of those cards that immediately looks fun.
He has pace, shooting, dribbling, strong attacking PlayStyles and a very unique player model. On paper, this is exactly the type of forward who should cause problems for defenders.
And in-game, he does feel dangerous.
But there are two issues that stop him from being a perfect striker: physicality and 4★ Weak Foot.
Endrick Key Stats
Endrick’s card has a very strong attacking profile:
• 97 Overall
• 97 Pace
• 96 Shooting
• 93 Passing
• 96 Dribbling
• 56 Defending
• 92 Physical
• 5★ Skill Moves
• 4★ Weak Foot
The stats are excellent for a forward.
He is fast, sharp, technically strong and has enough shooting to finish most chances.
The 5★ Skill Moves are a big plus, especially if you like agile forwards who can create their own shooting angles.
But the 4★ Weak Foot is noticeable.
Endrick PlayStyles: Great for His Position
Endrick has a very good PlayStyle package for an attacker.
His key gold PlayStyles are:
• Technical
• Rapid
• Low Driven Shot
• Gamechanger
These give him a lot of attacking impact.
Technical makes his dribbling feel cleaner.
Rapid helps him accelerate and attack space.
Low Driven Shot gives him another strong finishing option.
Gamechanger adds that extra attacking threat when the match needs a moment.
For a striker or inside forward, this is a very useful PlayStyle set.
Does Endrick Feel Fast?
Yes, he does.
Endrick runs at the level you expect from his pace stats.
He feels quick when attacking space, especially when he is used as a striker making direct runs or as a wide forward cutting inside.
His acceleration feels good, and he can definitely separate from defenders.
Pace is not a problem with this card.
Endrick Shooting: Good, But Not Perfect
Endrick shoots well.
His finishing is strong, and from good angles he can score consistently. I would say around 8 out of 10 good finesse-style chances can go in.
But there are still moments where he can let you down.
The biggest reason is the 4★ Weak Foot.
Because he is left-footed, situations on his right foot can become risky. In important moments, that 4★ Weak Foot can cost you.
That does not make the card bad, but it does make him slightly less reliable than top-tier 5★ Weak Foot attackers.
Endrick Passing
Endrick’s passing is better than you might expect for a striker.
He has silver Tiki Taka and Incisive Pass, which help a lot with quick link-up play.
His triangle passing is clean, especially around the box.
To be fair, as a striker, you do not always need him to be a playmaker. But it is still useful when he drops slightly deeper or plays quick combinations with a CAM or winger.
He is not just a runner. He can combine well too.
Endrick Dribbling
Endrick’s dribbling is good.
Gold Technical helps a lot, and his 96 Dribbling feels strong in-game.
He can turn quickly, carry the ball well and use 5★ Skill Moves to create space.
But you still need to know when to stop dribbling.
If you overdo it and run into physical defenders, his main weakness appears quickly.
Main Weakness: Physicality and 4★ Weak Foot
The biggest issue with Endrick is physicality.
Even with a unique player model, he can be pushed off the ball too easily.
Strong centre-backs can bully him if they get close. That makes him less reliable in tight physical duels.
The second weakness is the 4★ Weak Foot.
For an expensive attacker, that can be a real problem. You want your striker to finish confidently on both feet, especially in close matches.
Endrick can still be very good, but these two details stop him from being elite value.
Is Endrick Worth the Coins?
More yes than no.
Endrick is a strong card, and he can absolutely be dangerous in-game. He has great PlayStyles, strong pace, good shooting, nice dribbling and enough passing to link attacks.
But there are cheaper and possibly more effective alternatives.
So I would not call him a must-buy.
Endrick Rating: 8.5/10
Best Role: ST / RW / Inside ForwardMain Strength: Pace, Technical dribbling and attacking PlayStylesMain Weakness: Physicality and 4★ Weak FootRecommendation: Good card, but not perfect value. Buy only if you like his profile.
João Neves Review
João Neves Festival of Football Phenoms Review
João Neves is the card that impressed me the most from this group.
He feels complete, reliable and very effective in midfield.
For me, he is best used as a CDM rather than an attacking midfielder. Yes, he has 5★ Skill Moves and 5★ Weak Foot, and yes, he can shoot well enough, but his real value is deeper.
He controls midfield.
He wins the ball.
He passes incredibly well.
And he feels smooth on the left stick.
João Neves Key Stats
João Neves has an elite midfield profile:
• 97 Overall
• 92 Pace
• 87 Shooting
• 95 Passing
• 98 Dribbling
• 96 Defending
• 95 Physical
• 5★ Skill Moves
• 5★ Weak Foot
These stats are incredible for a CDM or CM.
He has enough pace, elite dribbling, excellent passing, top-tier defending and strong physicality.
The 5★/5★ combination makes him even more flexible.
João Neves PlayStyles: Perfect for Midfield
His gold PlayStyles are exactly what you want from a central midfielder:
Intercept
Pinged Pass
Long Ball Pass
Bruiser
This is a fantastic set.
Intercept helps him cut passing lanes.
Pinged Pass makes his direct passes extremely sharp.
Long Ball Pass gives him amazing switching ability.
Bruiser helps him compete physically in midfield.
This makes him feel like a proper complete CDM.
Does João Neves Feel Fast?
Yes, he runs at his pace.
He does not feel slow or heavy.
For a midfielder, 92 Pace is more than enough, especially because his positioning, defensive reactions and dribbling make him feel very active.
He covers ground well and rarely feels late to the ball.
João Neves Shooting
His shooting is good, but that is not the main reason to use him.
He can finish when needed, and because he has 5★ Weak Foot, he is reliable if a chance appears around the box.
But I would not build him as an attacking CM.
He is much better as a CDM or balanced CM who controls the game.
João Neves Passing
This is one of his strongest areas.
With silver Tiki Taka and Incisive Pass, plus gold Pinged Pass and Long Ball Pass, João Neves can pass in almost every way you need.
Short passes feel clean.
Triangle passes feel sharp.
Long balls are excellent.
Switches of play are reliable.
And because he has 5★ Weak Foot, he can pass from either side without feeling limited.
This is a huge advantage in midfield.
João Neves Dribbling
João Neves feels very good on the left stick.
His 98 Dribbling is noticeable.
He can turn under pressure, escape midfield traps and carry the ball forward when needed.
For a CDM, this is very valuable because you do not want your defensive midfielder to lose the ball under pressure.
Neves feels calm, clean and responsive.
Weaknesses
Honestly, there are no major flaws.
He feels reliable, complete and consistent.
I did not notice big defensive gaps, awkward movement or weak passing moments.
He just behaves very well on the pitch.
Is João Neves Worth the Coins?
Definitely yes.
For me, João Neves is one of the best defensive midfielders in FC 26.
He has the stats, the PlayStyles, the passing, the dribbling and the defensive presence.
João Neves Rating: 9.4/10
Best Role: CDM / Holding midfielderMain Strength: Complete midfield controlMain Weakness: Not many obvious flawsRecommendation: Strong buy. One of the best CDMs in the game.
Pau Cubarsí Review
Pau Cubarsí Festival of Football Phenoms Review
Pau Cubarsí is the defensive star of this review.
This is a very serious centre-back card.
He has elite defensive PlayStyles, strong pace, excellent defending, strong physicality and surprisingly good ball control for a CB.
In-game, he feels extremely reliable.
I did not notice major weaknesses.
For me, he is one of the best defenders in FC 26.
Pau Cubarsí Key Stats
Cubarsí’s card has a complete centre-back profile:
• 96 Overall
• 93 Pace
• 56 Shooting
• 90 Passing
• 90 Dribbling
96 Defending
• 96 Physical
• 4★ Skill Moves
• 5★ Weak Foot
These stats are excellent for a centre-back.
93 Pace is strong.
96 Defending and 96 Physical are elite.
90 Passing and 90 Dribbling make him much better on the ball than many other CBs.
The 5★ Weak Foot is also a huge bonus for passing out from the back.
Pau Cubarsí PlayStyles: Elite CB Toolkit
Cubarsí has a fantastic PlayStyle package for a centre-back.
His gold PlayStyles include:
Anticipate
Pinged Pass
Long Ball Pass
Block
This is an excellent mix.
Anticipate makes him much better in tackles.
Block helps him defend shots and cutbacks.
Pinged Pass and Long Ball Pass make him extremely useful in build-up.
He is not just a defender. He can start attacks too.
Does Cubarsí Feel Fast?
Yes, he runs at his pace.
93 Pace feels good for a centre-back, especially because his defensive positioning and PlayStyles help him recover well.
He does not feel slow or exposed.
Against fast attackers, he can keep up well enough.
Tackling and Defending
Cubarsí is excellent defensively.
His gold defensive PlayStyles and silver traits like Intercept, Slide Tackle, Aerial Fortress and Bruiser make him very reliable in defensive situations.
He tackles well.
He blocks well.
He competes physically.
He can defend aerial balls.
And he feels composed when stepping out from the back line.
This is exactly what you want from a top centre-back.
Passing
Cubarsí’s passing is one of the reasons he feels so premium.
With silver Tiki Taka and gold Long Ball Pass, he can pass out from the back very comfortably.
He can play short passes under pressure and switch the ball over distance.
The 5★ Weak Foot makes this even better because you do not have to worry as much about body angle.
That is a huge advantage for a CB.
Dribbling and Ball Control
For a centre-back, his dribbling is very good.
He feels smooth enough on the left stick and does not panic when pressed.
This matters a lot because high pressing is common in FC 26.
Cubarsí can receive the ball, move slightly, and then pass out safely.
That makes him feel much more complete than a basic physical defender.
Weaknesses
There are not many.
He behaves very well on the pitch, and I did not notice serious defensive mistakes or obvious problems.
He feels consistent, composed and elite.
Is Pau Cubarsí Worth the Coins?
Definitely yes.
For me, Pau Cubarsí is one of the best centre-backs in the game.
He has elite defending, strong physicality, good pace, great passing and excellent PlayStyles.
Pau Cubarsí Rating: 9.3/10
Best Role: CB / Ball-playing defenderMain Strength: Elite defending plus passing from the backMain Weakness: No major flaws noticedRecommendation: Strong buy. One of the best defenders in FC 26.
Final Ranking
1. João Neves
The best overall card from this review for me. He is complete, reliable and feels like the best CDM in the game.
2. Pau Cubarsí
The best defender from this review. Elite CB, great passing, great defensive PlayStyles and no major flaws.
3. Endrick
A very good attacker, but the 4★ Weak Foot and physicality stop him from being as easy to recommend as the other two.

Are These Cards Worth the Coins?

João Neves is absolutely worth the coins. He feels like an elite CDM and has almost everything you need in midfield.
Pau Cubarsí is also absolutely worth it. He is one of the best defenders in the game and feels extremely complete.
At the time of writing, always check the market before buying, because promo prices can move quickly.
Final Verdict
This Festival of Football: Phenoms group has three very strong cards, but João Neves and Pau Cubarsí are clearly the standouts.
