FC 27 Season Pass 2 Heritage guide featuring best player rewards, PlayStyle Plus Evolutions and Champions Store updates

Quick Answer

FC 27 Season Pass 2: Heritage is finally here, and this time there are several rewards that can genuinely improve your Ultimate Team.

The new season brings nostalgic FC Heritage player cards, the first PlayStyle+ Evolutions in the Season Pass, updated Champions Token Store packs and a new tournament with an 85-rated Alexis Sánchez as its headline reward.

But not every reward deserves the same attention.

For me, Danny da Costa is one of the best early unlocks, Kenny Lala looks extremely interesting at right-back, and Nabil Fekir is the obvious choice if you need a creative CAM.

The final rewards, including Rashford and Saint-Maximin, look exciting from a nostalgia perspective. However, I am not convinced that all of them will still be competitive by the time most players reach Level 30.

Here is our full breakdown of the best Season Pass 2 rewards, which Player Picks to choose, how the new Evolutions work and how to unlock Alexis Sánchez.

FC 27 Season Pass 2: Heritage – What's New?

Season 2 introduces a new progression track built around some of the most recognisable players from previous Ultimate Team generations.

The season runs from October 22 to December 3, 2026, with rewards distributed across 30 levels.

There are free and Premium rewards, including FC Heritage player items, packs, Evolutions and additional cosmetics.

The interesting part is that EA has not saved every potentially useful card for the final levels.

Some of the best value might actually come much earlier.

Da Costa is an excellent example. A fast centre-back with Anticipate and a solid defensive profile is exactly the sort of reward that can save you Ultimate Team coins during the early game.

Fekir, meanwhile, offers something different: a genuinely interesting attacking midfielder with good technical attributes and useful finishing PlayStyles.

And then we have Level 28, where the first PlayStyle+ Evolutions become available.

That could end up being the most important reward of the entire season.

All FC 27 Season Pass 2 Rewards – Levels 3 to 30

Here are the key rewards worth paying attention to.

FC 27 Season Pass 2 player rewards and level progression overview

Reward levels and choices follow the supplied in-game information. Some selections may appear on different Free or Premium tracks. Always check the reward tile before spending or claiming.

Level 3 – Danny da Costa Is a Brilliant Early Reward

Let's start with one of my favourite cards from the new Season Pass.

Danny da Costa 84-rated FC 27 Heritage card stats showing 86 Pace, 81 Defending, 82 Physical and other attributes for the centre-back

What makes the card particularly attractive is its acceleration profile.

With 84 Acceleration and 87 Sprint Speed, da Costa should offer useful recovery pace when defending against fast forwards.

And that matters in FC 27.

If you regularly face players who rely on lofted through balls and aggressive forward runs, having a centre-back who can recover quickly is a major advantage.

Anticipate Makes Him Even More Interesting

The real attraction is his defensive PlayStyle selection, particularly Anticipate.

A defender with Anticipate can benefit from improved standing-tackle effectiveness, which is particularly useful when an opponent tries to dribble through tight spaces.

That makes da Costa considerably more interesting than a typical 84-rated centre-back with similar face stats.

For me, the main weakness is not the card itself. It is Chemistry.

Playing for Mainz in the Bundesliga, da Costa may be awkward to fit into a squad built around other leagues.

If you can get him onto full Chemistry without compromising the rest of your team, though, he is one of the first Season Pass players I would seriously consider using.

Our verdict: An excellent early defensive reward, especially for players who need more pace at centre-back.

Level 4 – Allan Is Useful, but Nothing Special

Allan is another familiar Ultimate Team name, and his return fits the Heritage theme perfectly.

However, this 84-rated CDM does not immediately stand out.

His stats are reasonably balanced, and he can perform the basic duties expected from a holding midfielder.

But the problem is simple: there are already plenty of midfielders with similar overall ratings and comparable profiles.

Why Pinged Pass Still Matters

The best argument in Allan's favour is his PlayStyle selection.

Pinged Pass is particularly valuable in the current FC 27 meta.

When you are trying to move the ball quickly through a crowded midfield, a player with Pinged Pass can help create opportunities before the opponent reorganises defensively.

As we discussed in our FC 27 October Meta Guide, fast and accurate passing remains extremely important.

Allan also has useful defensive PlayStyles, making him a functional option in deeper midfield roles.

Still, I would not rebuild my squad around him.

Our verdict: Good as a temporary CDM or squad-depth option, but not a must-have player.

Level 15 – Kenny Lala or Jule Brand?

This is one of the most interesting choices in the Season Pass.

And if you need a right-back, I would seriously consider Kenny Lala.

Kenny Lala – Another Excellent Right-Back Option

Lala's 84-rated FC Heritage card looks very promising.

He offers a useful combination of pace, defensive attributes and physical presence, which is exactly what you want from a modern full-back.

What makes the card attractive is how complete it looks on paper.

He does not rely exclusively on speed, and his general attribute distribution should allow him to contribute in more than one phase of play.

But I have one significant concern.

His defensive PlayStyles are not particularly impressive.

For me, this is a real issue.

Strong full-backs in FC 27 need more than a decent Defending stat. PlayStyles such as Anticipate, Intercept and other defensive tools can make a noticeable difference when dealing with fast wingers.

Lala looks like a strong option, but I would hesitate to call him one of the absolute best right-backs until we see how he performs against elite attackers.

Should You Choose Jule Brand Instead?

Brand is the alternative if you would rather improve your attacking options.

If your right-back position is already covered, taking another defender makes little sense.

This is one of those Season Pass choices where your current squad should decide the outcome.

Our pick: Lala if you need a starting RB; Brand if your defence is already strong and you need attacking depth.

Level 20 – Nabil Fekir or an 83+ Player Pick?

FC 27 Nabil Fekir 85 Heritage card versus 83 Plus Player Pick recommendation

This is probably the easiest decision in the entire Season Pass.

Take Fekir.

An 85-rated Nabil Fekir with strong attacking attributes and useful PlayStyles offers considerably more predictable value than an 83+ Player Pick.

Nabil Fekir FC 27 Heritage CAM attributes showing 87 Dribbling, 84 Shooting, 84 Passing and other stats explaining his attacking midfield potential.

Those are very respectable stats for a creative CAM at this stage of the game.

His 87 Dribbling is particularly interesting, while 84 Shooting and 84 Passing give him enough attacking quality to contribute in multiple situations.

But the PlayStyles are the real reason I like this card.

Fekir has access to Finesse Shot, which is useful when receiving the ball around the edge of the penalty area.

He also has technical tools that support dribbling and ball control.

For me, this is the sort of player who can become far more effective than his overall rating suggests.

Best Chemistry Style for Fekir

I would start with Hunter if you want him to make more aggressive runs and contribute directly to goals.

His natural dribbling is already good, so improving Pace and Shooting makes sense.

If you prefer using him as a possession-oriented CAM, Engine is another reasonable option because it focuses on mobility, passing and dribbling.

Personally, I would choose Hunter first and only switch if he feels uncomfortable on the ball.

Is Fekir Better Than the 83+ Pick?

For me, absolutely.

The Player Pick could produce something valuable, but it is also possible to receive nothing particularly useful.

Fekir is a known reward with a clear attacking role.

Our pick: Fekir, without hesitation.

Level 24 – Ferland Mendy or Fridolina Rolfö?

I expected a little more from Mendy.

Considering how strong some of his previous Ultimate Team versions have been, this 85-rated card looks fairly ordinary.

That does not mean it is unusable.

Mendy can still be effective at left-back, particularly if you need a physical defender with useful pace.

But I was hoping for something more exciting.

Why Rolfö Might Be the Better Choice

Rolfö offers a more balanced profile and potentially greater flexibility.

Depending on her available positions, she could help in several parts of your squad rather than simply replacing your current left-back.

That makes the decision interesting.

If you desperately need a defender, Mendy is still worth considering.

But if you already have a reliable LB, I would lean towards Rolfö.

Our pick: Rolfö for versatility; Mendy if you specifically need a left-back.

Level 28 – The First PlayStyle+ Evolutions

Now this is where Season Pass 2 becomes genuinely exciting.

At Level 28, players can access the first PlayStyle+ Evolutions featured in this season's progression rewards.

There are two categories.

Paid PlayStyle+ Evolutions

• Finesse Shot+

• Technical+

Finesse Shot+ is an obvious attraction for attackers who frequently score from curved shots.

Technical+ could be extremely useful for players who depend on close control and dribbling through tight spaces.

Which one should you choose?

If you have an attacker who already feels excellent on the ball but lacks a reliable finishing weapon, Finesse Shot+ might offer more value.

If your player is a creative midfielder or winger who relies on left-stick movement and technical dribbling, Technical+ could be more interesting.

Free PlayStyle+ Evolutions

• Press Proven+

• Inventive+

Press Proven+ should appeal to players who need better close control while shielding the ball under pressure.

Inventive+ can be more useful for creative passers who specialise in unconventional attacking passes.

For me, these Evolutions could be more valuable than several of the player rewards themselves.

Why?

Because instead of taking another card that may not fit your squad, you potentially improve someone you already enjoy using.

That is exactly the sort of progression reward I want to see more often.

However, Evolution eligibility restrictions, upgrade caps and any payment requirements should always be checked before committing a player.

Level 30 – Saint-Maximin or Rashford?

The final level brings two of the most recognisable names in Ultimate Team history.

And I genuinely like this choice from a nostalgia perspective.

Both Saint-Maximin and Rashford have the sort of reputation that makes players want to try their cards, even when their stats are not especially impressive.

Allan Saint-Maximin

Saint-Maximin is all about attacking freedom.

He is the sort of player you use when you want to take on defenders, create space through dribbling and make something happen individually.

However, the long-term problem is obvious.

By the time players reach Level 30, there may already be faster and more complete attackers available.

If his finishing or passing feels limited, the card could struggle to justify a place in stronger teams.

Marcus Rashford

Rashford looks more interesting to me.

The 86-rated Heritage version has 93 Pace, 84 Shooting, 80 Passing, 82 Dribbling, 39 Defending and 71 Physical.

That combination gives him obvious potential in direct attacking situations.

He also has several useful attacking PlayStyles.

For me, Rashford is the more appealing of the two because he offers a familiar combination of pace, shooting and forward movement.

But there is still a major concern.

Will this card remain competitive when most players actually unlock it?

I am not completely convinced.

The face stats are good, but not extraordinary, and EA will almost certainly release more powerful attackers as the season progresses.

Still, these cards have personality.

And sometimes that matters.

Not every Ultimate Team reward has to be the most efficient possible choice.

Our pick: Rashford, although Saint-Maximin is worth choosing if you prefer dribbling over direct attacking play.

New FC 27 Champions Token Store Rewards

FC 27 Champions Token Store updated pack rewards and token prices

Season 2 also introduces changes to the Champions Token Store.

Several packs have been upgraded, while others now offer more players for the same token cost.

Here are the most important changes.

FC 27 updated pack offers comparison showing Gold Players packs, token costs from 5 to 100 and previous reward options.

Which Champions Store Packs Offer the Best Value?

For me, the biggest improvement is the 12x 83+ Gold Players Pack.

Previously, the 10x 83+ offer cost 75 Champions Tokens.

Now you can receive 12 players with an 83+ minimum rating for 50 tokens.

That is a much more attractive proposition for players who need SBC fodder.

The 12x 84+ pack is another strong option, particularly if you are saving resources for expensive Squad Building Challenges.

Meanwhile, the 30x 78+ pack offers quantity rather than a particularly strong minimum rating.

It can be useful for completing smaller SBC segments or building up club depth, but it is not necessarily the best choice if your priority is high-rated fodder.

One important detail: always check whether a pack is tradeable or untradeable before spending tokens.

A pack's actual value depends on more than the number of players it contains.

Our recommendation: Prioritise the 12x 83+ pack for efficient fodder collection, or save for the 12x 84+ pack if you need higher-rated players.

How to Unlock 85 Alexis Sánchez in FC 27

FC 27 Alexis Sanchez Heritage Tournament objectives and squad guide

Season 2 also introduces an FC Heritage Tournament with a special 85-rated Alexis Sánchez as the headline reward.

And the requirements are much more manageable than you might expect.

The tournament is structured around a 10-match competition.

However, simply entering 10 matches does not guarantee the reward. You still need to complete the relevant objectives.

Alexis Sánchez Card Overview

The FC Heritage Sánchez card features:

Alexis Sánchez 85-rated FC 27 Heritage card attributes featuring 86 Pace, 83 Shooting, 82 Passing, 85 Dribbling and other player stats

The card can be used as an ST, with CM and CAM also shown as alternative positions in the supplied tournament graphic.

On paper, Sánchez looks like a useful attacking option, especially for players who want someone capable of contributing in both creative and finishing situations.

He is not necessarily going to replace every high-end attacker, but as a tournament reward, he looks attractive.

How to Unlock the FC Heritage Tournament

Before entering the main Heritage Tournament, you must complete the World Class Heritage Event requirement.

The reported unlock condition is straightforward:

• Win one match in the World Class Heritage Event.

Once the tournament becomes available, you can begin working towards Sánchez.

Best Squad Requirements for Heritage Tournament

The recommended squad construction shown in the supplied guide uses the following league, club and nationality links:

FC 27 Heritage Tournament squad-building guide showing recommended Serie A, Real Madrid, Ligue 1, Premier League and Netherlands player links.

These are the building blocks of the recommended lineup shown in the graphic. They should not be confused with guaranteed official squad-entry restrictions.

The goal is to create a competitive team while satisfying the relevant eligibility rules shown in your game.

Do not spend unnecessary coins chasing expensive players simply to assemble the lineup.

Heritage Tournament Objectives

The reported objectives include:

• Win the Heritage Tournament three times.

• Score two goals in a single match.

• Score at least one goal in three separate matches.

• Record at least one assist in three separate matches.

• You can make progress on several objectives during the same game.

For example, a match in which you score two goals and register an assist can potentially contribute to multiple requirements.

That is why I would focus on playing normally and completing the objectives together instead of treating every requirement as a separate challenge.

Is Alexis Sánchez Worth Unlocking?

I think so.

An 85-rated player with decent attacking stats, useful position flexibility and a manageable objective structure is a good addition for players who enjoy grinding gameplay rewards.

More importantly, you are not required to spend a large amount of coins on an SBC to obtain him.

The main investment is your time.

If your current squad needs an attacking midfielder or an alternative forward, Sánchez is worth pursuing.

Our verdict: A worthwhile gameplay reward, especially if you can complete the tournament efficiently.

Best FC 27 Season Pass 2 Rewards – Our Ranking

FC 27 Season Pass 2 best rewards ranking featuring PlayStyle+ Evolutions, Danny da Costa, Nabil Fekir, Kenny Lala, Fridolina Rolfö and Marcus Rashford.

This is not a ranking based on overall ratings.

It is based on how useful these rewards look relative to their unlock timing, role and potential impact on a normal Ultimate Team squad.

A great early reward can sometimes offer more value than a slightly stronger card unlocked several weeks later.

Is the FC 27 Premium Season Pass Worth It?

The Premium Season Pass is worth considering if you intend to play regularly and expect to unlock most of its rewards.

However, I would not recommend purchasing it just because a familiar name appears somewhere in the progression track.

You should look at which rewards are exclusive to Premium, how much the upgrade costs and whether you are realistically going to reach the required levels.

The Level 28 Evolutions are particularly interesting, but their eligibility rules and associated costs will determine how much value they actually offer.

Our advice is to review the entire reward track before upgrading.

If you only play a few matches each week, the free rewards may be enough.

If you regularly complete objectives, Champions and other Ultimate Team activities, the Premium rewards could offer much more value.

Final Verdict – Is FC 27 Season Pass 2 Worth Grinding?

FC 27 Season Pass 2 final verdict highlighting best Heritage cards and PlayStyle Plus rewards

I like this Season Pass much more than I expected.

The most encouraging thing is not simply the number of nostalgic players.

It is that EA has finally given us several rewards that could make a practical difference to our squads.

Da Costa looks like an excellent early centre-back, Lala is an interesting right-back option, and Fekir is probably my favourite attacking reward from the middle of the progression track.

The Level 28 PlayStyle+ Evolutions might be the biggest highlight of all.

I am slightly less enthusiastic about the final player rewards.

Rashford and Saint-Maximin are exciting names, but I suspect some players will already have better alternatives by the time they unlock them.

Still, that does not ruin the season.

Add the Champions Store improvements and the Heritage Tournament rewards, and there is plenty of content worth playing for.

Our verdict: Season Pass 2 is absolutely worth progressing through, even if you do not plan to complete every level.

And for me, that is a major improvement over a season where all the interesting rewards sit at the very end.
