Quick Answer
The new Glory Hunters promo has a lot of interesting cards, and after reviewing the main headline player, Erling Haaland, it is time to look at the rest of the team.
The biggest surprise for me was Nico Paz. He is cheap, but in-game he feels far better than his price suggests. His long legs, smooth model and passing make him one of the most enjoyable CAMs I have used from this promo.
Theo Hernández looks like the best premium card from this group and possibly the best left back in FC 26 right now. Upamecano is the best cheap centre-back, while Rodrigo De Paul feels like better value than Bruno Guimarães.
Semenyo is usable, but he felt like a regular pace runner. Gabriel is solid, but for his price, I expected much more.
Short Verdict: Best Glory Hunters Cards After Haaland
Best overall card: Theo Hernández
Theo feels like an elite left back. He has pace, strength, attacking value and a very strong player model.
Best value card: Nico Paz
Nico Paz is the biggest surprise. Cheap price, great CAM feel, long legs and excellent passing.
Best cheap centre-back: Dayot Upamecano
Upamecano is powerful, physical and very reliable for the price.
Best value midfielder: Rodrigo De Paul
De Paul felt better value than Bruno Guimarães, even though Bruno is the more expensive card.
Most disappointing expensive card: Gabriel
Gabriel is not bad, but he did not feel clearly better than Upamecano despite costing much more.
Most average attacker: Antoine Semenyo
Semenyo has 5★/5★ and good stats, but he did not really change matches for me.
Glory Hunters Promo: More Than Just Haaland
The Glory Hunters promo has another strong batch of cards.
The obvious headline player is Erling Haaland, and we already discussed him separately. But honestly, some of the other cards are even more interesting from a value point of view.
Not every player can afford the most expensive promo cards. That is why the real question is not just “Who is the highest rated?”
The better question is:
Which cards actually feel worth the coins in-game?
After testing several of them, my main conclusion is simple: some of the cheaper cards feel much better than expected, while some of the expensive ones are not as convincing as their price suggests.
Nico Paz Review – The Biggest Surprise of the Promo
Nico Paz impressed me the most.
This card costs very little compared to what he gives you on the pitch. At first glance, he may not look like the most obvious must-try player from the promo, but once you use him, he feels seriously good.
For me, Nico Paz is one of the best CAM options from this Glory Hunters team.
Key Stats
• 94 Overall
• 92 Pace
• 94 Shooting
• 94 Passing
• 96 Dribbling
• 87 Defending
• 90 Physical
• 4★ Skill Moves
• 5★ Weak Foot
These stats are excellent for a central attacking midfielder, especially when you consider the price.
Why Nico Paz Feels So Good
The main reason is his player model.
He has long legs, a smooth feel on the ball and a very comfortable attacking presence. At CAM, this matters a lot. You need a player who can receive the ball between the lines, turn quickly enough, pass forward and still cover space.
Nico Paz does all of that surprisingly well.
He is not just a small technical CAM. He has that long-legged feel that helps him stretch touches, win loose balls and create passing angles.
Passing and Triangle Play
One of the best parts of this card is his passing.
Simple triangle passes, quick one-twos and forward balls around the box feel very clean. He constantly gives you good passing options and helps the attack flow through the middle.
That is why he feels so good as a CAM.
Verdict on Nico Paz
Nico Paz is the biggest value surprise from this promo.
For the price, he is absolutely worth trying.
Rating: 9/10
Best Role: CAM
Recommendation: Strong buy if you need a cheap creative attacker.
Antoine Semenyo Review – Fast, 5★/5★, But Not Special
Semenyo looks very exciting on paper.
He has strong stats, good physicality and, most importantly, 5★ Skill Moves and 5★ Weak Foot. Usually, that combination makes an attacker immediately interesting.
But after playing seven matches with him, I came away slightly disappointed.
Key Stats
• 96 Overall
• 96 Pace
• 95 Shooting
• 93 Passing
• 96 Dribbling
• 70 Defending
• 95 Physical
• 5★ Skill Moves
• 5★ Weak Foot
The card looks very strong. The issue is not the stats.
The issue is that he did not feel special enough in-game.
In-Game Feel
Semenyo is fast. He makes runs. He can score goals. He can absolutely be useful.
But he felt more like a normal pace runner than a promo attacker who changes matches.
Yes, the 5★/5★ is great.
Yes, he scored goals.
But I expected more.
He did not give me that feeling where you immediately think: “This card is different.”
Verdict on Semenyo
Semenyo is not bad, but he did not impress me enough for the price.
Rating: 8/10
Best Role: LW / RW / ST
Recommendation: Buy only if you specifically need a fast 5★/5★ attacker. Otherwise, there may be better value options.
Rodrigo De Paul Review – The Better Value Midfielder
Rodrigo De Paul feels like a very complete midfielder for the price.
Key Stats
• 95 Overall
• 92 Pace
• 90 Shooting
• 93 Passing
• 95 Dribbling
• 90 Defending
• 95 Physical
• 4★ Skill Moves
• 4★ Weak Foot
De Paul has a very balanced card. He can defend, pass, carry the ball and support the attack.
He also has that active midfield feel. He constantly gets involved, presses well and moves into useful areas.
Why De Paul Feels Good
The biggest strength is his all-round profile.
He is not elite in one single area, but he does almost everything well.
He also has very strong triangle passing, which is extremely useful in midfield. Quick combinations through the center can make a real difference, especially when you are trying to break pressure.
For the price, De Paul feels like one of the smartest midfield buys from this promo.
Verdict on De Paul
De Paul is a very good value midfielder.
Rating: 8.6/10
Best Role: CM / Box-to-box midfielder
Recommendation: Strong buy if you need a cheap, active and reliable midfielder.
Bruno Guimarães Review – Good, But Harder to Recommend
Bruno Guimarães is clearly a good card.
Key Stats
• 96 Overall
• 94 Pace
• 90 Shooting
• 96 Passing
• 96 Dribbling
• 92 Defending
• 94 Physical
• 4★ Skill Moves
• 4★ Weak Foot
The stats are excellent. His passing is especially strong, and he can definitely make a difference in midfield.
But for me, he did not feel worth the price difference compared to De Paul.
The Main Issue
Bruno felt a little too short for what I wanted from this type of midfielder.
That does not make him bad, but when a player costs several times more than De Paul, I want to feel a clear difference on the pitch.
I did not feel that difference strongly enough.
Both players have excellent passing combinations, but De Paul felt like the better value pick.
Verdict on Bruno Guimarães
Bruno is good, but not the best value.
Rating: 8.2/10
Best Role: CM / CDM
Recommendation: Buy only if he fits your squad perfectly or you really like his profile.
Dayot Upamecano Review – Cheap CB Beast
Upamecano impressed me a lot.
I still remember his Team of the Week card from FIFA 22, where he stayed in my starting squad for a long time. This version gives me a very similar feeling.
Key Stats
• 95 Overall
• 92 Pace
• 56 Shooting
• 84 Passing
• 87 Dribbling
• 95 Defending
• 96 Physical
• Lengthy AcceleRATE
This is exactly the type of centre-back profile that works in FC 26.
Why Upamecano Feels So Reliable
The biggest thing is his body type.
He feels stocky, strong and aggressive. He can push attackers, win duels and compete in the air without problems.
He does not feel passive. He feels like a defender who wants contact.
For a centre-back, that is extremely important.
Value for Coins
Upamecano is also very cheap compared to what he gives you.
He fully justifies his price and feels like one of the best defensive value cards from this promo.
Verdict on Upamecano
Upamecano is a very strong buy.
Rating: 8.8/10
Best Role: CB
Recommendation: Strong buy if you need a cheap and physical centre-back.
Gabriel Review – Good Card, But I Expected More
Gabriel is not a bad card.
He has strong defensive stats, a big profile and good physical presence.
Key Stats
• 97 Overall
• 92 Pace
• 56 Shooting
• 88 Passing
• 90 Dribbling
• 97 Defending
• 95 Physical
• Lengthy AcceleRATE
On paper, he looks excellent.
But in-game, I expected more.
Why Gabriel Disappointed Me
The main problem is the price.
Gabriel costs several times more than Upamecano, but I would not say he feels several times better. In fact, for value, I would rather use Upamecano.
Gabriel is solid, but he did not give me that premium “wow” feeling.
When a card is that much more expensive, you expect him to clearly dominate. For me, that did not happen enough.
Verdict on Gabriel
Gabriel is usable, but not amazing value.
Rating: 8.1/10
Best Role: CB
Recommendation: Buy only if you need his links or specifically prefer his profile. Otherwise, Upamecano is better value.
Theo Hernández Review – The Best Left Back in FC 26?
Now we get to the most exciting card from this review.
Theo Hernández is incredible.
Key Stats
• 95 Overall
• 96 Pace
• 90 Shooting
• 90 Passing
• 94 Dribbling
• 93 Defending
• 93 Physical
• 4★ Skill Moves
• 4★ Weak Foot
This is a complete fullback profile.
Why Theo Feels Elite
Theo has a very strong model. He feels fast, powerful and aggressive.
He can defend, recover, attack, carry the ball and even shoot when he gets into the final third.
That is why he feels like one of the best left backs in the game.
He is not just a defensive LB. He is a full left-side weapon.
Attacking Value
Theo is excellent when joining attacks.
He overlaps well, carries the ball forward and can create dangerous situations from the left side. He can also shoot, which makes him even more threatening when opponents leave space.
Defensive Value
Defensively, he is also very reliable.
He can fight physically, recover quickly and compete in aerial duels. That makes him much more complete than many smaller attacking fullbacks.
Verdict on Theo Hernández
Theo Hernández is probably the best left back in FC 26 right now.
Rating: 9.3/10
Best Role: LB / Attacking fullback
Recommendation: Strong buy if you can afford him.

Buy Nico Paz If:
• You need a cheap CAM
• You like long-legged attacking midfielders
• You want good passing through the middle
• You need strong value for the price
Buy Theo Hernández If:
• You want the best possible left back
• You attack with your fullbacks
• You need pace, strength and attacking support
• You can afford a premium defender
Buy Upamecano If:

• You want a strong body type
• You like aggressive defenders
• You want value over hype
Buy De Paul If:
• You need a value midfielder
• You want a balanced CM
• You like quick passing combinations
• You do not want to overpay for Bruno
Who Should Skip These Cards?
Skip Semenyo if you expect a game-changing attacker. He is usable, but he felt too normal for me.
Skip Bruno Guimarães if you are mainly chasing value, because De Paul felt better for the price.
Skip Gabriel if you already have Upamecano or another strong centre-back and do not need Brazilian links.
Skip Theo Hernández only if you do not use attacking fullbacks or cannot justify spending heavily on a left back.
Are These Glory Hunters Cards Worth the Coins?
Some of them are absolutely worth it.
Nico Paz is the best value card from this review. He feels much better than his price suggests.
Upamecano is another excellent value option. If you need a cheap centre-back, he is one of the strongest choices.
De Paul is also very good for the price and feels better value than Bruno Guimarães.
Theo Hernández is expensive, but he actually feels like a premium card.
The weaker recommendations are Semenyo, Gabriel and Bruno Guimarães. They are not bad cards, but their value is less convincing.
At the time of writing, market prices can change quickly, so always check current prices before buying.
Final Verdict
This Glory Hunters promo has plenty of interesting cards beyond Haaland.
Nico Paz is the biggest surprise. He is cheap, smooth, long-legged and excellent as a CAM.
Theo Hernández is the best card overall and probably the best left back in FC 26.
Upamecano is the smart cheap centre-back option. He feels strong, physical and reliable.
Rodrigo De Paul wins the midfield value battle over Bruno Guimarães.
Gabriel is solid, but disappointing for the price. Semenyo is usable, but he felt like a regular runner rather than a special promo attacker.
Best Overall Card: Theo Hernández
Best Value Card: Nico Paz
Best Cheap CB: Dayot Upamecano
Best Midfield Value: Rodrigo De Paul
Most Overpriced Feeling Card: Gabriel
Most Average Attacker: Antoine Semenyo
